The Opportunity
As a Content Curator you are an integral part of a team all focused on the success, growth, and retention of every client. This team is directly responsible for growing their assigned clients' online presence, improving each client's digital marketing metrics using all available analytical tools we provide, and successfully managing each client relationship and growing their business.
In this role, you will report to the Content Manager. The Content Curator is an entry-level to intermediate-level position (depending on your level of experience and expertise) responsible for creating where required, curating, and editing engaging digital marketing assets and content for our clients' use on their social media platforms and in their digital marketing presence. Proven digital content creation experience is a plus for the ideal candidate. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely in a team, to produce high-quality podcasts and short form videos for clients, create incredibly compelling digital marketing content, and curate and implement that content into client-specific content plans that conform to both the ProudMouth Content, Brand, and Social Media Standards and the client's content and brand standards and that produce results using technology tools and our proprietary content creation engine. The content you provide is highly visible and shared across digital and social media marketing platforms and is expected to produce tangible, measurable results in terms of analytics and increasing our clients' business. Critical to your role is ensuring all content is delivered on schedule, in accordance with our ProudMouth standards and timeframe expectations, and meeting known client expectations. Also critical to your role is to always remember the client is depending on us to showcase their expertise and scale their credibility in the market using all the digital marketing assets and products we provide.
As a Content Curator, you are directly responsible for a specific assortment of high-quality social media content (depending on the actual product purchased by the client) based on each recorded client podcast or show and other elements available to us from each client's digital presence. While we have great technology tools to assist with this process, it is imperative that you identify existing and compelling client content and from that create content that draws targeted audiences in to engage in the posts and content published. In this role attention to work product quality without sacrificing speed is a must along with the ability to learn, follow directions, and be curious about new trends. The ability to accept feedback and apply learning to continuously improve your work product quality is critical to your success in this role at ProudMouth.
Responsibilities
- check_circle Working collaboratively to deliver on every promise the ProudMouth brand represents in client success terms.
- check_circle Perform all Content Curator functions for each assigned client. The workload will involve supporting a client portfolio of approximately 20 to 30 clients at any given time.
- check_circle Own your part of the success of each client relationship by the quality of work product you create and deliver for your assigned clients.
- check_circle Listen to all client podcasts in your portfolio (it is mandatory to review the podcast at regular speed) and review all copy generated from the podcast to ensure content is free from errors and is representative of the client's voice, conforms to both the ProudMouth Content, Brand, and Social Media Standards and the client's content and brand standards, meets all compliance standards, and is contextually relevant to the episode or show produced.
- check_circle Receive and implement feedback for improvements to your work product and performance.
- check_circle Use only ProudMouth-approved tools, processes, and software in your work. If for some reason what we have is not ideal, you must inform the Content Manager for further investigation.
- check_circle Work collaboratively to assist in curating content they discover from unique sources from outside of our standard processes, to maximize our clients' online presence.
- check_circle Proper use of our proprietary content engine tools.
- check_circle Provide consistent (daily if warranted) feedback to the Content Manager on improving our content.
- check_circle Review edited podcast episodes with listening ears (listen for context, highlights, and any audio issues) at regular speed if required, to catch all mistakes and edits required per ProudMouth standards.
- check_circle Review and properly / accurately edit all podcast and show transcripts.
- check_circle Create podcast and show titles and summaries with strict adherence to each client's compliance guidelines.
- check_circle Create social media copy with strict adherence to each client's compliance guidelines.
- check_circle Create social media assets with strict adherence to each client's compliance guidelines.
- check_circle Perform all content manipulation, rewriting, and revisions provided by the client within deadlines.
- check_circle Receive all graphics or graphic design created for the client's digital marketing assets from the Graphic Design function and incorporate those into the final content package for client.
- check_circle Perform all edits properly / accurately on content pre or post-client feedback.
- check_circle When requested, participate in team meetings to discuss analytics, statistics, success, and opportunities for improvement.
- check_circle Know and understand the metrics we provide to clients and how you can help improve them in your work.
- check_circle Schedule and confirm publication of all approved client content multiplications for each episode on company-approved scheduling software and report to the Content Manager Account Manager if the client is not posting in accordance with the published schedule. This function does not apply if the client posts on their own social media.
- check_circle Identify processes and improvements to build client success and loyalty to the Managed Influence Acceleration (MIA) program and share those with the Content Manager and Account Manager.
- check_circle Reporting any positive and negative feedback from clients, with recommendations for improvement if negative, in an accurate, timely, serious, and actionable manner to the Content Manager and Account Manager.
- check_circle Supporting and participating in protocols for client retention as required and notifying the Content Manager and Account Manager if you become aware of a client giving indications they are not satisfied (or contemplating leaving for any reason), along with recommended actions to satisfy and retain the client.
- check_circle Attend department meetings and other meetings as requested or required.
- check_circle Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your manager.
Qualifications
- star Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a Digital Marketing or Social Media area emphasizing Technology and Business. If a Degree or Diploma includes an emphasis in Applications of AI that is a plus.
- star Experience and knowledge in leveraging and utilizing Social Media Assets and video (LinkedIn, YouTube, IG, FB, X, etc.), and Podcast / Video Production.
- star Must be tech savvy, able to identify problems and apply critical thinking and communications skills to resolve them.
- star Up-to-date computer/technology skills. (Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Workspace, Canva, Social Platforms (including YouTube).
- star HubSpot experience and knowledge is a plus.
- star Working ability in graphic design and related tools, audio editing platforms, and social media scheduling platforms is important.
- star Previous experience working with clients with revenue impact is a plus.
